About Me

I have lived healthy with diabetes since 1960 and have been involved in the diabetes space since 1980 when I was licensed as a Mental Health Counselor. Since it takes both knowledge and tools to care for diabetes, I vacillate between providing counseling and education to people living with diabetes and creating marketing education materials for diabetes companies. It's difficult for me to choose between the two, so I do both in hopes that some of what I do makes life better for the peopleI I am able to touch.

In addition to my work, I enjoy my varied friendships, community involvement, traveling and hiking with my beloved dog.
